A greenhouse feeling, in the middle of the city.
Cypress Garden Coffee is a neighborhood café at 304 S 12th Street, owned by Rachela Leynes and filled, quite literally, with green.

A coffee shop should be somewhere you want to stay.
That’s the idea behind Cypress Garden. The room is calm and thoughtfully laid out, with plants on every shelf and seats for working, reading, or catching up.
Rachela creates the café’s coffee flavors herself, which is why drinks like the Butter Cream Latte and Black Sesame Latte taste like nowhere else. The pastries come from a small bakery just outside the city.
Neighbors stop in on the way to work. Visitors from Australia and Canada have made it their daily stop while in town. Everyone gets the same warm welcome.
Made in-house
Our signature flavors are developed and made here, in small batches.
Sourced close
We work with a local bakery outside Philadelphia for pastries guests call some of the best they’ve had.
Calm by design
Plants, soft light, and a gentle hum. Easy to talk, easy to focus.
Fairly priced
Good coffee shouldn’t be a splurge. Guests regularly mention how affordable a visit is.
“The atmosphere feels peaceful, almost like a small escape in the middle of the city.”
